My friend made a script that crawls websites and for testing he chose our university: Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. Believe it or not, he actually got over 37000 files in publicly available folders from our universitys’ file server myy.haaga-helia.fi. The records are available at tradenomi.noob.fi.

Django is a web framework written in Python and as you may guess everything in Django is also done in Python. Django was developed to simplify the creation of database driven sites and principle of it is “don’t repeat yourself”. Best feature in Django is the fact that it propably is the fastest website framework to create a fully functioning website.

Octopress is a blogging framework which generates your enire blog in static files. Octopress has integrated Twitter, Google Analytics, Google Plus, Facebook and some other webservices. There are also good plugins for adding images, code, videos and other content into your blog posts. The framework is made for hackers and people who know something about Linux and shell.

HAAGA-HELIA Student Party Gallery 2010-2012

I have hosted HAAGA-HELIA Student Party Gallery for two years now and it is time to move one. In these two years I have taken and published over 10 000 photos from various student events. My studies are ending in one year and I would like to see someone start a similar gallery and continue saving the memories from student parties in pictures.
